Michael Everett

Senior Pastor

Serving as Senior Pastor, Michael Everett's greatest desire has always been to see people come to know Christ and then truly walk in the will of the Lord. With a vision that extends beyond the local church, Pastor Mike serves by delivering verse by verse, Biblical sermons that are easily relatable, in the hopes that the local church can break across denominational boundaries and globally reach the lost for Christ. With over 9 years as a Youth Minister, Pastor Mike has always had a heart to reach the next generation for Christ. He understands the need for a next generational, youth driven, global church. Mike is married to his lovely wife, Alessandra Myers and is Father to Rebecca, and Benjamin Myers. He is a high school graduate of Florida Christian High School, Graduated from Liberty University with a B.S. in Psychology and is currently completing a master’s degree in Theological Studies.

David Pereira

Spanish Pastor

As part of our ministry in Spanish, Pastor David Pereira-Sierra, along with his wife Karen de Pereira and their children Samuel and Elisabeth Pereira, joined our Church as of December 2017. David was born in Venezuela, he is a third generation missionary kid. His academic achievements include being a Lawyer and a Commercial Pilot. Pastor David is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Christian Studies at Thirdmill Seminary. Since he was young he has been involved in the evangelistic and educational activities of the Churches wherever he has been a member. Upon being baptized at the age of 15, David has served as a teacher for youth and adults throughout the years. Feeling the call from our Lord Jesus Christ to Pastoral Ministry, he became part of the church staff as the Pastor for our Spanish ministries in January 2021. He is also a member of the Church Planting program for the North American Mission Board (NAMB), as well as for the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC).

Rob Myers

Pastor Emeritus

As a Pastor with over 40 years of experience, Pastor Rob is committed to equipping the church body to become mature disciple's, establishing the Church that Christ intended. For 20 years, under Pastor Rob’s loving guidance, Miami Baptist Church, now Lifted Church, became known as a place where the gospel is always preached, the presence of God is experienced, and the love of God is felt. Born in Dallas, Texas in 1956, Pastor Rob is the son of Bob & Jeane Myers, former pioneers in the recreation ministry of First Baptist Church Dallas. They Myers eventually became IMB Missionaries to Panama, where young Pastor Rob became a missionary kid in training and learned to speak fluent Spanish. Consequently, this experience in missions birthed a driving desire to be involved in world missions and to lead this church to do the same! Pastor Myers is a graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic University (Bachelor of Arts), Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (Master’s in Divinity) and Carolina University (Doctorate of Ministry in Leadership). In 1981 he married his beautiful ministry partner, Dr. Estelle Myers. They have served arm-in-arm throughout their ministry of church, school and family. They have three fantastic adult sons: Robert, Pastor Mike and Allie Myers and Pastor/Evangelist Thomas Myers and Kylie Myers.

Estelle Myers

Church & School Administrator

Dr. Estelle has her Bachelor of Arts degree from California Baptist University, her Master’s in Religious Education with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Counseling from Southwestern Theological Seminary, and her Doctor of Ministry in Leadership from John Wesley University. In 1981 she married her partner in ministry, Dr. Rob Myers. They have served arm in arm in their ministry of church and family for over 36 years. They have three fantastic adult sons: Robert, who works for the U.S. Senate Republican Conference; Pastor Mike Myers (wife Allie and granddaughter Rebecca) and Pastor/Evangelist Thomas Myers. At present, Estelle is fulfilling the vision of the church to have a Christian school and is currently the administrator for both church and school. Estelle leads the women’s ministry teams in mentoring, works with the mission’s ministry and leads our counseling program at the church.

Bob Brumley

Associate Pastor

It is wonderful to have on our team, a man who is truly humble in the eyes of the Lord. Pastor Bob, came to Miami Baptist Church over five years ago with a servants heart. He has been a “right hand man,” to Pastor Rob. Currently he works on our first Impressions, Men’s ministry and mission’s teams. As the Director of Global Studies for Indiana Wesleyan University, Bob has introduced Dr. Rob and Dr. Estelle to teaching Pastors and educators overseas. He heads up many of our missions trips. Dr. Brumeley has his Masters in Ministry Leadership from Rockbridge Seminary and his Ph.D. in Education From Southern Illinois University. He is married to his wonderful wife Carmen and has two wonderful children.

Dann Seifert

Worship Pastor

Dann relocated to Miami from Brazil in January of 2017 and has been an integral member of our church team since December 2017. His role as Worship and Production Pastor has been crucial to our community. Dann boasts extensive experience as a music teacher, a leader, and a dedicated musician who finds joy in serving others. His upbringing in a Christian household, where his father served as a Pastor and his mother as a Worship Leader, meant that music has been an integral part of his life since before his birth. At Lifted Church, Dann currently leads the efforts in recruiting, training, mentoring, and coordinating the Worship, Sound, and Production teams. He holds a bachelor's degree in Music and has aspirations to further his education through seminary studies. Dann officially received his ordination as a Pastor in January 2021. In his personal life, Dann is happily married to Isabel Seifert and is a proud parent to three wonderful children: Liz Helena, Levi Miguel, and Luisa Victoria.

Isabel Seifert

Children’s Director

Isabel is passionate about children! She was Born in Brazil, lived in Bonaire, Ecuador, and the US. Isabel has always been involved in some type of church ministry, and she comes from a missionary home. Both she and her husband, Dann, came to Miami in January 2017, and have been part of our staff since December 2017. Isabel loves sharing about God’s love and teaching the Gospel. At MBC, she is the Children’s Director, and assists in administrative needs for both church and school. Her goal is to recruit, train and encourage volunteers as they get involved, using their gifts and talents to serve God in the Children’s Ministry. Her studies are in Human Resources, and she is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Theology.

Nicholas Haddock

Youth director

Serving as the Creative Director and Youth Director, Nick felt the call to ministry early on in his life. At the age of 16, he knew ministry was his ultimate calling, however it wasn’t until later in his life that the passion for youth and all things creative started to really outshine his other passions. With this understanding, he dedicated his early career to graphic design, web design, photography, marketing and communications. Nick received his bachelor’s degree in Christian Ministries from Trinity International University and hopes to continue his education with a graduate degree.

At Lifted Church our expectation is to serve FASTER. To serve with flexibility, accountability, with sustainability in mind, to be teachable, encouraging, and reliable. The idea of F.A.S.T.E.R comes from the need for every leader to be adaptable. As leaders, how fast do we respond to the spirits prompting? We want you to become faster, so that you can go deeper. Remember the way up is down; A lifted leader is always gauging how to go Faster.
