Michael Everett

Senior Pastor

Serving as Senior Pastor, Michael Everett's greatest desire has always been to see people come to know Christ and then truly walk in the will of the Lord. With a vision that extends beyond the local church, Pastor Mike serves by delivering verse by verse, Biblical sermons that are easily relatable, in the hopes that the local church can break across denominational boundaries and globally reach the lost for Christ. With over 9 years as a Youth Minister, Pastor Mike has always had a heart to reach the next generation for Christ. He understands the need for a next generational, youth driven, global church. Mike is married to his lovely wife, Alessandra Myers and is Father to Rebecca, and Benjamin Myers. He is a high school graduate of Florida Christian High School, Graduated from Liberty University with a B.S. in Psychology and is currently completing a master’s degree in Theological Studies.

David Pereira

Spanish Pastor

As part of our ministry in Spanish, Pastor David Pereira-Sierra, along with his wife Karen de Pereira and their children Samuel and Elisabeth Pereira, joined our Church as of December 2017. David was born in Venezuela, he is a third generation missionary kid. His academic achievements include being a Lawyer and a Commercial Pilot. Pastor David is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Divinity (MDiv) at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Since he was young he has been involved in the evangelistic and educational activities of the Churches wherever he has been a member. Upon being baptized at the age of 15, David has served as a teacher for youth and adults throughout the years. Feeling the call from our Lord Jesus Christ to Pastoral Ministry, he became part of the church staff as the Pastor for our Spanish ministries in January 2021. He is also a member of the Church Planting program for the North American Mission Board (NAMB), as well as for the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC).

Dann Seifert

Worship Pastor

Dann relocated to Miami from Brazil in January 2017 and has been a vital member of the Lifted Church team since December of the same year. Serving as the Executive Worship and Production Pastor, his leadership has greatly impacted the church community. With a rich background in music education, leadership, and performance, Dann is passionate about using his talents to serve others. Raised in a Christian home, where his father was a pastor and his mother a worship leader, music has always been at the heart of his life.

At Lifted Church, Dann oversees the recruitment, training, mentorship, and coordination of the Worship, Sound, and Production teams. He holds a bachelor's degree in Music and recently began pursuing a Master of Arts in Christian Studies in October 2024, reflecting his commitment to deepening his theological education and furthering his ministry work. In January 2021, Dann was ordained as a pastor, solidifying his commitment to ministry. Outside of his professional role, Dann is happily married to Isabel Seifert, and together they are raising three wonderful children: Liz Helena, Levi Miguel, and Luisa Victoria.

Estelle Myers

Church & School Administrator

Dr. Estelle has her Bachelor of Arts degree from California Baptist University, her Master’s in Religious Education with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Counseling from Southwestern Theological Seminary, and her Doctor of Ministry in Leadership from John Wesley University. In 1981 she married her partner in ministry, Dr. Rob Myers. They have served arm in arm in their ministry of church and family for over 36 years. They have three fantastic adult sons: Robert, who works for the U.S. Senate Republican Conference; Pastor Mike Myers (wife Allie and granddaughter Rebecca) and Pastor/Evangelist Thomas Myers. At present, Estelle is fulfilling the vision of the church to have a Christian school and is currently the administrator for both church and school. Estelle leads the women’s ministry teams in mentoring, works with the mission’s ministry and leads our counseling program at the church.

Rob Myers

Pastor Emeritus

As a Pastor with over 40 years of experience, Pastor Rob is committed to equipping the church body to become mature disciple's, establishing the Church that Christ intended. For 20 years, under Pastor Rob’s loving guidance, Miami Baptist Church, now Lifted Church, became known as a place where the gospel is always preached, the presence of God is experienced, and the love of God is felt. Born in Dallas, Texas in 1956, Pastor Rob is the son of Bob & Jeane Myers, former pioneers in the recreation ministry of First Baptist Church Dallas. They Myers eventually became IMB Missionaries to Panama, where young Pastor Rob became a missionary kid in training and learned to speak fluent Spanish. Consequently, this experience in missions birthed a driving desire to be involved in world missions and to lead this church to do the same! Pastor Myers is a graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic University (Bachelor of Arts), Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (Master’s in Divinity) and Carolina University (Doctorate of Ministry in Leadership). In 1981 he married his beautiful ministry partner, Dr. Estelle Myers. They have served arm-in-arm throughout their ministry of church, school and family. They have three fantastic adult sons: Robert, Pastor Mike and Allie Myers and Pastor/Evangelist Thomas Myers and Kylie Myers.

Bob Brumley

Associate Pastor

Pastor Bob has served as Associate Pastor at Lifted Church since 2012. In that role, he has worked in education and outreach ministries, missions and small group ministries as well as recovery ministry. He has also been involved in theological and professional education work throughout Latin America and the Caribbean for over 20 years. He has enjoyed the opportunity to help prepare pastors, teachers, missionaries and church leaders to serve in ministry throughout the world. What's exciting about this is the fact these ministry leaders share the Gospel of Jesus Christ in places that we will never go, to people that we will never meet this side of Heaven! It is an exciting opportunity!

Currently, in addition to his role at Lifted, Pastor Bob serves as the academic dean of the English program and the accreditation compliance officer at Thirdmill Seminary.

Isabel Seifert

Children’s Director

Isabel is passionate about children! She was Born in Brazil, lived in Bonaire, Ecuador, and the US. Isabel has always been involved in some type of church ministry, and she comes from a missionary home. Both she and her husband, Dann, came to Miami in January 2017, and have been part of our staff since December 2017. Isabel loves sharing about God’s love and teaching the Gospel. At MBC, she is the Children’s Director, and assists in administrative needs for both church and school. Her goal is to recruit, train and encourage volunteers as they get involved, using their gifts and talents to serve God in the Children’s Ministry. Her studies are in Human Resources, and she is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Theology.

Youth and Young adults Director

Jorge Vasconez, a dynamic Youth Director at Lifted Church, is dedicated to helping students discover their identity in Christ, embrace truth, and live boldly. A former Lifted YTH student since 6th grade, he now leads the ministry that shaped his faith, bringing authenticity and depth to his leadership. Currently studying Christian Ministry at Palm Beach Atlantic University, Jorge, alongside Matthew Araujo, oversees weekly services, student leadership, First Priority campus outreach, and events like Lifted YTH Summer Camp. His approach—meeting students where they are and pointing them to Jesus—fosters a transformative culture where students feel valued, challenged, and equipped to carry their faith beyond the church. For Jorge, youth ministry is more than a role; it’s his lifelong calling.

Matthew Araujo

Youth Director

Matthew Araujo, a dynamic Youth Director at Lifted Church, is a driving force behind Lifted YTH, the church’s vibrant youth movement. With raw authenticity, creative vision, and a deep connection to South Florida’s culture, he meets students where they are, making faith a tangible, everyday lifestyle. Currently pursuing a Ministry degree, Matthew sharpens his biblical and leadership skills while leading alongside Jorge Vasconez. He oversees weekly services, First Priority campus outreach, student leadership programs, and impactful events like Lifted YTH Summer Camp. Whether he’s hyping up Friday night services, preaching with passion, or mentoring students in one-on-one conversations, Matthew inspires youth to break cycles, step into their God-given purpose, and represent Jesus boldly on their campuses and beyond. For him, youth ministry is more than a calling—it’s a lifelong mission to build a legacy of transformed, world-changing disciples.

With over 6 years as a Youth Pastor, Pastor Mike has a heart to reach the next generation and understands the need for a next generational, youth driven, global church. Mike is married to his wonderful wife, Alessandra Myers and is Father to Rebecca Myers, and Benjamin Myers. He is a high school graduate of Florida Christian High School; Graduated from Liberty University with a B.S. in Psychology and is currently completing a master’s degree in Theological Studies.

Feeling the call from our Lord Jesus Christ to Pastoral Ministry, he became part of our staff as a Pastor for our Spanish ministry in January 2021. He is also a member of the Church Planting program for the North American Mission Board (NAMB), as well as for the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC). With his family they are serving in our congregation for the Spanish-speaking community around our location, with the purpose that people can have a personal relationship with Jesus and the knowledge of living according to what God indicates to us in his Word.
